Ms. Hannah Smith
Owner & Director
Before moving to Austin in 2016, Ms. Hannah grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama. Along with her sixteen years of experience in early childhood education, she also received her degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, walking, practicing yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Emily
Assistant Director/Lead Pre-K Teacher
Mrs. Emily has been an early childhood educator for 9 years- focusing on play based/nature inspired education. In her free time she enjoys baking, practicing yoga and spending as much time outside as possible. She lives with her husband Andrew, her dog and two cats.
Ms. Lauren
Lead 3’s & 4’s Teacher
Ms. Lauren has lived in ATX for almost a decade. She has taught preschool for eight years and worked as an art teacher for four years part-time, as well as having over 15 years of childcare experience. Her passion is providing a safe and nurturing environment for all. In her free time, she loves to paint with watercolors, visit museums, and spend time with her daughter and two cats. Her daughter is enjoying life at Rosedale Preschool as well!
Mrs. Marina
Lead 2’s & 3’s Teacher
Mrs. Marina has several years of experience working with children in nurturing and supportive environments and is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where children can learn and grow through daily activities and play. Her calm and caring approach helps children feel comfortable, confident, and supported as they explore their world.
Mrs. Marina is originally from Brazil and speaks four languages: English, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish. She is excited to bring her language skills into the classroom in meaningful and age-appropriate ways. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and reading.
Mrs. Tracie
Lead Toddler Teacher
Mrs. Tracie recently relocated back to Austin (1996-2018) from Leander, TX (2018-2023) and she is happy to back. She has taught all ages from infants - school age in her 20+ years of working in Early Childcare and even held positions as a Director and Assistant Director. Her true passion is being with children and watching them grow and have fun. You might catch her playing, singing or dancing with your child. In her free time, Mrs. Tracie enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years, her daughter who attends UT and their sweet cat Nova. She also loves to craft, putt putt golf and trying new eateries around Austin.
Ms. Angel
Assistant Teacher
Angel is currently a senior at UT Austin, majoring in Youth and Community studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and a track in ELA. She’s had 3 years of professional childcare experience, but has spent her entire life taking care of littles. Her passion is making sure all children become exactly who they want to be. In her free time, she’s with the people she loves, and when that isn’t happening, she’s reading a book and drinking some matcha.
Ms. Jenna
Assistant Teacher
Jenna earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Baylor University in 2017. While she spent the past 10 years pursuing her love of photography as a wedding photographer, her passion for working with children has always remained at the heart of what she does.
Jenna is an Assistant/Floater Teacher, supporting classrooms wherever she’s needed most. She brings a fun, outgoing personality that the children absolutely love. Outside of work, Jenna continues to enjoy photography and loves spending time with her own family and friends.
